Caribbean Club - rather small to capital measures, but rather popular night club. It is one of the few Kiev's clubs that has individuality. It is possible to tell with full confidence, that in walls of Caribbean Club live the soul.
Caribbean Club is one of the oldest Kiev's clubs. In February 2004 Caribbean Club has celebrated the 6th anniversary. For years of the existence the club has increased in size more than twice. The interior which accomplished from natural materials traditional for the Caribbean region has exchanged: a stone, a tree, a reed, etc. Separate has opened, very cosy chimney hall where it is possible conveniently settle down on leather sofas, to smoke a hookah or a good Cuban cigar. The major principle of Caribbean Club work is a creation of cosy, household atmosphere which allows visitors to distract maximum from the problems and has to pleasant dialogue. Maybe, therefore Caribbean Club became attractive to a native of other countries - to diplomats and businessmen who, being in foreign country, have found the islet of native culture, feeling like as at home.
Caribbean Club is the informal Latin American cultural center not only in Kiev, but also in Ukraine, in fact where still it is possible so close become acquainted with musical, dancing culture of Latin America countries. Here it is possible to hear every possible musical genres, such as Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Guanguanco and others. And not simply to hear, but also will learn to dance. More than 3 years the school of Latin American dances exists at club where each interested person can try the strength on Salsodromo under incendiary music.
The musical repertoir of the club is selected thus not leave indifferent anybody - neither seventeen-year-old students, nor 50-year-old diplomats who having got to club, feel like much more youngly. It is necessary to note the theatre-cabaret "El Gato" which was formed within the precincts of Caribbean Club due to the wellknown choreographer - Olga Vorobevoj, who is the winner of the international competitions of ballet dancers. The program of the theatre-cabaret totals more than 20 dancings and two separate dancing performances "Mohito Taste" and "Tango-chanson". The theatre-cabaret "El Gato" was so grew fond by visitors of Caribbean Club, that each representation meets a storm of applause. In the repertoir of the theatre-cabaret is the various dancing genres. From traditional Latin American Salsa and Merengue up to Cancan and Tango, from Afro-dance up to east dances. Suits are sewed under special orders with use of the traditional materials brought from Latin America, Africa and the Near East. Actors of the theatre-cabaret "El Gato" became welcome guests on various scenic platforms, including the stage of the Palace of Culture "Ukraine".
Moreover in Caribbean Club works the restaurant with the Spain-Cuban kitchen, the dishes amaze with the refinement and the democratic prices. Nobody will be left indifferent with shrimps and avocado salad "the Temptation for a two ", the baked pork leg under mandarin sauce or bananas with apples in beer fried in hot fan under sauce "Lolita Cortes". In Club will prepare a traditional Spanish Paella with shrimps, the hen, mussels and sea cancers.
For many visitors Caribbean Club became the second house where it is always warm and cosy, where do not have a place the boredom and bad mood, where the soul lives.
